Natalie Gardner

Natalie Gardner (She/her/hers) is a graduate assistant for the Student Success program in the University Center for Academic Excellence. Natalie graduated from UNC Charlotte with a BA in English and a minor in Japanese. During her time as an undergrad, she studied abroad in Japan, which later motivated her to live and work in Japan as an English teacher.

After returning home, she realized how much she wanted to be in higher education. Her time in college and the support that helped her travel the world inspired her to want to pay it forward. By pursuing a graduate degree in Educational Leadership, she hopes to inspire students to never put limits on what they can do.

When Natalie is not busy with school and work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, reading, listening to music, and playing roller derby.
