Bushra Alsaftawi
Bushra Alsaftawi is a first-year graduate assistant for Learning Strategies at the University Center for Academic Excellence. She finished undergrad with a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science and an Arabic Studies Minor. She is passionate about higher education and assisting students as they navigate their individual experiences through college and is pursuing an M.Ed in Educational Leadership. She is familiar with the UCAE as she was previously a Peer Mentor for Students Obtaining Success for two years and was a Passport Program Student and Leader her freshman and sophomore years. Bushra is passionate about her Muslim faith, and as a first-generation American, takes pride in her Egyptian heritage. When she is not hanging out with friends or family, she enjoys trying new things and making others laugh. Her hobbies include experimenting with new foods, nail art, and playing ultimate frisbee.
