Peer Coaching
Success Guides are trained UNC Charlotte Students matched with their peers to provide academic support throughout the semester. The program is FREE to enroll and continue throughout the semester and your time at Charlotte!
Success Guides serve as accountability partners to ensure you are up to date on your assignments. They also provide peer coaching to help peers strengthen academic skills like time management, exam preparation, and note-taking. They can help you to troubleshoot issues in your classes and to become more connected to campus through both people and resources. In bi-weekly check-ins, they provide reminders about University deadlines, events happening on campus, and share study tips.

I am a second year graduate student in the Counseling program. I moved down to Charlotte from Boone, NC, where I studied at Appalachian State University. I really enjoy hiking, cooking, watching shows, and spending time with my family. When I am not doing those things, you can often find me curled up reading a book or studying. I can not wait to start working with students and offering any support I can.

I am a Junior at Charlotte studying Computer Science with a Concentration in Bioinformatics and Minoring in Biology! Some things I enjoy are reading, listening to music, and just hanging out with my friends. Some of my favorite music genres include EDM and some of the more mainstream music. When I’m not listening to music or reading you can find me studying and doing homework to make sure I get my work done on time.
