Learning Strategies

Krystle (“KJ”) is excited to join the UCAE staff as a Learning Strategies Graduate Assistant. KJ is pursuing a Master of Arts from the College of Education. KJ brings over six years of working with college students as a Tutor Coordinator, Student Mentor, Tutor, Co-Instructor of Learning Strategies, and Facilitator of low and high elements ropes courses and team-building activities. KJ is passionate about supporting students to work toward their goals, building upon their strengths, and providing them tools to be successful.

Prior to becoming UCAE staff, KJ worked with children, adolescents, and families, providing community-based family mental health services for over ten years. KJ earned a master’s degree in Educational and Counseling Psychology from the University of Missouri and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Northwest Missouri State University. KJ enjoys camping, swimming, playing board games, traveling, photography, and volunteering in the community.
