Philip Adams

Philip Adams is the Assistant Director for 49er Connect in the University Center for Academic Excellence. He focuses primarily on facilitating academic consultations and academic coaching through the 49er Connect program, connecting students with UCAE Success Guides to help them strengthen their academic skills and learn more about campus resources. Philip has over twenty years of experience in higher education, having previously worked in academic support at East Carolina University, Lesley University, and Winthrop University. Philip received both his B.A. in philosophy and his M.A. in English from East Carolina, as well. He earned his PhD in higher education from the University of Georgia.
