Courtney Hill (she/her/hers) serves as the Associate Director for Student Success in the University Center for Academic Excellence. Courtney has worked in higher education for over 10 years, supporting assessment, retention, and time-to-degree completion initiatives.
Courtney is passionate about helping underrepresented students succeed in college and believes that all students have the capacity to learn and succeed with the proper tools and support. She has a heart for students and a passion for supporting underserved groups. Courtney enjoys building relationships with students, faculty, and staff across the UNC Charlotte campus.
Courtney received her B.S. in Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology from Old Dominion University and an M.A. in Counseling with an emphasis in College Student Development from Hampton University. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Educational Psychology and Program Evaluation at Old Dominion University.
Before joining the UCAE team, Courtney worked as an assessment coordinator and adjunct instructor at Old Dominion University. When not on campus, Courtney enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband, friends, and family.
