Abstract: Beginning in 1996, the best artists performed in front of small audiences and told stories about their music, writing experiences, and more. In this panel, we’re doing the same for academic recovery. We’re stripping away the labels of “Good Standing” and “Academic Warning” to discuss the real stories behind students on academic probation. Featuring a panel of seasoned professionals, we’ll explore the experiences of students on the edge. The panel will live-analyze classic case studies involving financial stress, housing insecurity, and health crises, offering diverse strategies on how to move a student from defeat to determined.
