Academic Consultations

What is an Academic Consultation?

Academic Consultations are one-on-one sessions designed to help students develop specific strategies to address their academic concerns.

While Academic Skill Workshops afford students an opportunity to explore strategies for academic success and college survival in a group setting, often students need individual attention. In Academic Consultations, students examine their approach to learning, current barriers to success, and work with UCAE staff to develop effective learning strategies.
